On Thursday and Friday, thousands will descend upon the Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas for the 2024 UIL State Track and Field meet.

All that have ever trusted God know that he is faithful. For God told Joshua in chapter 1, verse 5: “I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Now for the believer, the same promise God made to Joshua is given to us, as God’s Word, therefore belongs to us. It is our promise from God that He will be with us, He will not fail us, nor l will He ever forsake us.

Former Archer City High School principal Dr. John Sherrill has announced his departure from Archer City ISD.

The Holliday UIL academic team had a strong showing at the UIL Region I-3A competition on April 26-27 at Abilene Christian. The Eagles finished with 151 points, tying Jim Ned for second overall at the regional competition.
