Archer County 4-H has had several members competing at the State Fair:

Congratulations Annie Reinke Grand Champion Youth Breeding Heifer Show Simmental Female! She also won Reserve Champion Senior Heifer Showman!

Congratulations Larson Vieth! Tied for 2nd place Sr Individual Dairy Judging and earned a scholarship for a dairy heifer next year!

Archer County was represented in the State Fair Archery Contest for the first time by Kreede Neal, Tanner Simmons, Foster Sullivan and Caden Lane. Congratulations guys!

Archer County had a total of 8 Dairy Judgers competing this year, the 2 teams were comprised of Kaidyn Patterson, Gunner Hoegger, Kensley Vieth, Bri Hoff, Gavin Steinberger, Larson Vieth, Gabby Hoegger and Emma Herring. Congratulations to each of these participants.

Whit Parkey placed 1st with Open pair, 2nd with Open Heifer and 2nd Junior Heifer and Isabelle Parkey placed 1st in Open and 1st in Junior classes in Brangus shows at the State Fair this weekend! Congratulations Whit and Isabelle.

Gabby Hoegger placed 1st with her Jersey Cow in the Junior Show, placed 2nd in the Open Show and had the Reserve Jersey Cow! Congratulations Gabby!

The Archer County Junior Livestock Show entries will be due by December 2, 2019 and there will be a late fee of $25.00 due on entries from December 3 to December 17. There will be no entries accepted after December 17th.

The Archer County Home Economics Show entries will be due by December 3, 2019.

The Archer County Home Economics Show Photography Contest entries will be due by December 2, 2019.

If you are planning to show an animal or participate in the food Show or the Photography you will need to be registered in FFA, FCCLA or 4-H as soon as possible.
