Mike Yandell has been a rancher, farmer and businessman for over thirty-five years, twenty-two of those years doing business and raising his family in Archer County. He was born and raised in West Texas until his parents, Wade and Stella Yandell made North Texas their home in 1972. Mike is a graduate of Rider High School, attended engineering school at Texas Tech and graduated from Midwestern State University in 1986. He married Kim Stephens Yandell in 1994 and together have raised four daughters, Madison, Morgan, Mackenzie, and Michaela on their ranch. Mike and his family are members of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Windthorst.
Mike runs the Yandell Limousin Ranch near Holliday and farms nearly fifteen hundred acres of land.The Yandell Limousin Ranch has proudly moved hundreds of head over the years through the Wichita Livestock Sales Barn. Mike and his family own commercial and retail properties across the area. Mike has served as the Livestock Superintendent for the Texas-Oklahoma Fair for the past twelve years and also currently serves the Sales Coordinator of The Wichita Falls Ranch & Farm Expo bull sale. Mike and his family have dedicated countless hours each year to see that these events succeed.
