Four Archer County nonprofit organizations are participating in the 24-county area fundraising program Texoma Gives, which kicks off at 6 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, with donations able to be given before the event.

The Holliday Public Library raised $7,849 and the Archer Public Library raised $535 last year. The two libraries will participate in the event again. Also participating is the Bowman Community Volunteer Fire Department and Home Center Ministries in Holliday.

To make a donation, visit www.texomagives. org where organizations can be searched. The Texoma Gives website accepts credit or debit card donations from their website and donors do not need to live the Texoma area to donate.
