“The Thrift Store will be closed indefinitely,” is posted on the front door of the Thrift Store in Archer City.

The Thrift Store has been serving Archer County residents for decades, but will now temporarily discontinue store hours during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several of the volunteers who work at the store are in a high-risk category, and the donations coming in to the Thrift Store are often of unknown origin. In order to keep both volunteers and customers safe the Thrift Store will close until further notice.

Please do not leave items on the sidewalk in front of the store or drop items off at the back door as there will be no one to process the donation. In order to continue to serve the community needs through local churches the Thrift Store will welcome monetary donations. Those wishing to make a monetary donation can contact Megan Densmore at 940-574-4983 during normal business hours on Tuesday or Thursday.
