The Texas Department of State Health Services has reported 1 confirmed case of the coronavirus in Archer County. Information released on the confirmed case is limited to protect the privacy of the person infected. What is known is the patient is a male in his 40’s who is quarantined at home. State and Local Health Authorities are monitoring the case and are in charge of tracing contacts.

Archer City Kelvin Green released a statement early this week stating the COVID case was not in Archer City.

According to the State Health Services website there have been 37 tests in Archer County with only one positive case. This data was updated as of May 19 according to the SHS website.
