Jim Bob Crowley holds his Archer County News at the monument of Benjamin Crowley, his 6th great uncle, who was given land in NE Arkansas for his service in the War of 1812. He is buried at this monument. His land was given as a state park in 1933. He is brother to Samuel Crowley who is believed to be the first casualty in the American Revolution in October of 1774 at the battle of Point Pleasant.
