Zed Wright Chavis of Wichita Falls, TX was arrested by Archer County Sheriff’s Department Monday, October 7th in Archer City. Chavis was at the Archer County Courthouse on another matter when it was discovered he had a Wichita County arrest warrant for Violation of a Court Order. Certain events not able to be disclosed at this time led Archer County Sheriff’s Department to call for a police K9 unit which alerted on his vehicle, indicating probable cause for illegal narcotics. All that was found was a urine bag and dispenser; typically used to give false negative results on a urine test, a misdemeanor.
