Christmas on the Square produced a big turnout last Thursday, December 5th. Vendors lined the streets and filled the Royal Theater. Long lines to see Santa at the Visitor’s Center moved fairly quickly as excited kids waited their turn to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
Hot cocoa and apple cider were available on the square and was enjoyed by many despite the nice warm weather for a December evening.
Missing this year were the elementary school kids singing, along with other singers in the Royal Theater. But the Archer City Band and twirlers were there to add to the festive atmosphere.
Pictures capturing the spirit of Christmas on the Square can be seen on page 8 of the paper.
