The driver of this blue pickup truck said he lost traction in the hard rain at Hwy. 79 and Coleman Rd. and ended up in someone’s pasture after plowing through the fence last Tuesday. The uninjured driver barely missed the two crosses placed in that very place where others have lost their lives on this curve.

This is just a reminder for drivers to slow down in the rain. Water was over the road in several places on the highway, and it doesn’t take much to lose traction anywhere and lose control of a vehicle. Even when it is not raining, take special precaution at this curve.
