The Texas Department of State Health Services will be conducting an immunization clinic in Windthorst, at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, on Thursday, October 3rd, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m. Flu vaccines will be available at this clinic. United Pharmacy will be on site to provide immunizations for those with Medicare and private insurance.
In addition, the Department of State Health Services will have weekly clinics at the Archer City Field office, 511 S Cedar Street. Archer City clinic dates are October 2nd, 23rd and 30th from 9 am–noon and 1-3 pm. The clinic will have extended hours on October 9th from 10 am-1 pm and 2 pm–5:30 pm. United Pharmacy will be on site to provide immunizations for those with Medicare and private insurance on October 9th. Appointments can be made for other dates and times by calling the office at 940/574-2159.
All infant and childhood immunizations will be offered. Adult immunizations are available to those who qualify. Please bring your immunization records to the clinic.
The Texas Department of State Health Services provides vaccines for those on Medicaid, no insurance, American Indian, Native Alaskan, and the under-insured. We cannot provide vaccine for those with CHIP, Medicare or private insurance. If your private insurance covers vaccines, you will be referred to your doctor. Parent or guardian over the age of 19 must accompany a minor under the age of 18. VFC vaccines are provided for $10.00 per visit, with a maximum of $20.00 per household. Adult vaccines are $20.00 per visit for adults with no insurance. No one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
