Optimist Club chooses Holliday ISD teacher as Educator of the Year

On Sept. 24th Wichita Falls Red River Optimist Club honored Darrin Ard, as Educator of the Year. Mr Ard is a teacher in the Holliday ISD district and is very busy in teaching in these areas: AP Englsh IV , III , Pre AP English II , English EOC; UIL Prep: UIL Literary Criticism, Social Studies, Ready Writing & Copy Editorial Coach.

Mr. Ard told the Archer County News, “It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Red River Optimist Club, especially when I am surrounded by so many other worthy educators who do exactly what I do by loving teenagers, by communicating their passions for their content specialties, and by motivating their students for their next stage in life.”

Congratulations to Mr. Ard for being chosen as Wichita Falls Red River Optimist Club Educator of the Year.
