rcher County are you ready to Rodeo? June 20,21 &22 2019 will be the 74th Annual Archer County Rodeo at the Archer City Arena each night at 7:30 pm. This year’s Main Event Sponsors or The Browse Shop and Vieth Tractor, co-sponsors are Flying M Ranch, T & W Tire, Malibu Homes, American National Title, John Morris Boots, Chalk Mountain Services of Texas and Brazos Windows & Doors. Thursday will kick things off with a Ranch Rodeo featuring 10 teams with area cowboys competing for buckles, money and bragging rights. Friday and Saturday Rodeo will be the 74th Annual Rodeo also starting at 7:30 pm. The 2019 Parade Chairman is Rene Holder, anyone wanting to enter a float, car, wagon or riding club contact Rene at 940/237-5778. On Saturday night there will be a Dance at the Old Tennis Court. This year’s band is The Steve Bounds Band. This year’s Officers & Directors are President Clifton Russell, President Elect Jeremy Moyer, Vice President Brett Oliver, Secretary Dustin Schrieber, Treasurer Ron Mullins. Directors are Brandon Talley, Jody Bullard, Greg Oliver, JR Schreiber and Steven Word. Once again the concession stand will be sponsored by the ACVFD, come by and have a Rodeo Dog, Nacho’s or Pop Corn and something cold to drink.
