The Cravings Are Real

Mandy White

It is a known fact that the pizza ovens at Lucky’s Café are broken. Tragedy struck the business when they first broke on May 9th, the day of the rival softball game between Archer City and Windthorst.

Lucky’s took measures to repair this problem by ordering two more ovens. They were delivered on Friday, May 23rd, only to find that they were damaged. Having to send them back, Lucky’s is hoping to receive new

working ovens any day, and the people are eager to have their pizza back.

Since they broke, customers have been calling 40++ times a day to see if they have been repaired or when they would be repaired. In fact, the first call made asking about the pizza ovens last Tuesday morning came in at 6:10 a.m. Though a worthy investment, the cost of these ovens is very expensive.

“We are doing the best we can,” Manager Mandy White said.

The withdrawals for pizza should be over soon, hopefully, and the natural order of things will be restored.
