A pioneer is the first to explore or settle a new country or area. A pioneer is a person who is among the first to research and develop a new area of knowledge or activity. The COVID-19 pandemic is definitely a new area of knowledge Archer County residents are forced to deal with. Archer County was built on the courage, toughness and grit of those pioneers who settled here over 100 years ago. The time has come for all of us to summon that pioneer spirit to get through the uncertain times. The Archer County News is committed to helping pull us all together to move on to a brighter day after this crisis.

Please review the Archer County business and organizations listed on the next two pages. Please do business with them so when this crisis ends we will all be standing tall to move Archer County into a prosperous future.

This crisis and the response to it changes frequently so the information printed this week is the most recent information available but could change on short notice.

Please follow the guidelines published by the Center for Disease Control and the Texas Department of State Health Services. We are all in this together so take care of yourself and your neighbor by following health guidelines.

If your business did not get published and you would like us to note changes in your operation, please contact us at (940) 574-4569. We will be glad to add you next week.
