Fifty-seven years ago, I was a member of the graduating class of Archer City High School, and I continue to appreciate and enjoy recalling the many fond memories of my Archer City childhood and my Archer City school years. I am especially thankful for the life-long friendships that began back then. Members of this year’s graduating class will share those feelings, I am sure, now and as the years go by.

Members of the Archer City Class of 2019 can look back with pride on their special achievements, including those in UIL academic, band, and athletic competitions, and in the Honors Program and community service. And I must add sincere compliments to the Cat’s Claw staff (of which I myself was a member many years ago) for producing an outstanding, professional-quality school newspaper! Members of the graduating class of 2019 have no doubt enjoyed and greatly benefited from Archer City’s superb, much-needed new high-school building! And so will our students for many years to come!
