Hartgraves named lone finalist for ACISD superintendent

The Archer City ISD school board named Hico Superintendent Jon Hartgraves the lone finalist for its superintendent position during a special meeting on Tuesday, March 6.

Hartgraves has served as superintendent of Hico ISD since 2012 and served as superintendent of Gordon ISD before that.

Hartgraves will replace outgoing superintendent CD Knobloch, who announced his intentions to retire at the end of June earlier this school year.

ACISD School Board must wait 21 days after naming a lone finalist before officially hiring Hartgraves as required in Texas Government Code Section 55.2126.
