Billie Marie Gage, age 64, passed away Sunday morning, Dec. 6, in Wichita Falls.

Private services and interment are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Marie was born Feb. 4, 1956 in Wichita Falls, to William Robert “Bill” Gage and Robbie Lee Ray Gage.

She graduated from Archer City High School where she was selected FFA Sweetheart and was awarded a college scholarship in basketball. In her working career of more than thirty years, Marie was employed by Levi Strauss, Certain Teed and Delphi.

Marie was passionate about raising, riding and training horses. Her favorite paint horse, Gage, won the American Paint Horse Association World Championship in barrel racing in Ft. Worth. Marie was a member of the Texas Oklahoma Barrel Racing Association and the American Paint Horse Association. She also was a member of the First Baptist Church of Archer City.

Marie loved her children and enjoyed supporting each of them in their high school athletic careers. She was also fond of helping people, crafts, cooking, cattle work and competition. She will be missed by many lifetime friends.

Survivors include two sons, Corey William Parker and wife, Stephanie of Iowa Park, and Rob Jordan Tucker of Archer City; daughter, Jamie Ray Parker Proctor; her mother, Robbie Gage Prideaux of Archer City; two sisters, Nancy Allen and husband, Brad of Stephenville, and Mary Beth Gage of Archer City; four grandchildren, Rilee, Aubrey, Morgan and Phoenix; and nieces and nephews, Sarah, Joel, John Matt and Shay.

Marie was preceded in death by her father, Bill, on Aug. 7, 1986.
