Cleo I. Siewert, age 96, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Archer City, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, in the Archer City Cemetery with Eugene Bullard of Wichita Falls officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Cleo was born Feb. 28, 1924 in High Springs, Fla. to the late Phillip Curtis Eastin and Lillie Mae Palmer Eastin.

She and Rev. Richard Carl Siewert were married Feb. 17, 1948 in Phoenix, Aiz. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2001.

Cleo was a Godly woman who served as a pastor’s wife from 1952 until 2001. She was a member of Grace Community Church of Archer City. Cleo was an outstanding seamstress who made her daughter’s clothes and also her granddaughter’s clothes.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice S. Kitchell of Wichita Falls and Rebecca L. Hargrave of Forney; one brother, Jim Eastin and wife, Jackie of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Amy Hamm, Abby Selman, Annie Hickerson and Taylor Hargrave; six great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Jaxson, Collin, Kloey, Tatum and Sophia.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
