Jerry Lynn Anderle, age 57, of Scotland, passed away Jan. 16, in a Wichita Falls hospital, surrounded by his family.

Vigil service and rosary were held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mass wascelebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Moloney, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Interment followed in St Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The vigil service and mass was live streamed. Due to Covid, the family requested that you wear your mask at all times.

Jerry was born on March 5, 1963, to Leroy and Caroline Veitenheimer Anderle in Wichita Falls.

He graduated from Windthorst High School where he was active in sports, being the first All State Baseball Player in Windthorst history…and graduated with a degree in orneriness!!!

Jerry married Marsha Ann Morath on Sept. 5, 1987 in Windthorst.

Jerry was employed by Dailey Electric for twenty-six years. He was an active member of I.B.E.W. for thirty-five plus years.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where he was very active serving as Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Usher, CCD teacher and was always ready to volunteer for any role that he was asked to serve.

Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus #1824 for forty years and the 4th Degree for thirty-three years where he served as Faithful Navigator and Faithful Admiral and many other offices. He also was a member of Fr. Albert General Assembly.

For years, Jerry was the chairman of the drinks at the semi-annually sausage meals where he enjoyed serving and visiting with everyone.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha; daughters, Victoria and Rachel Anderle; mother, Caroline Anderle; twin brother, Terry and wife Sharon; brothers, Roy and wife Cathy, Richard and wife Sharon; sisters, Dorothy Holmes and husband Mike, Karen Ferguson and husband Danny, Lois Jean Wilde and husband Jerry, Debbie Riley and husband Mick, Tracy Ferguson and husband James and Valerie McGrath; along with many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, Leroy Anderle and in-laws, Robert and Therese Morath.
