The Sheriff’s Office received 132 calls for service this week. As this report is being written there are 30 inmates and 3 being female in the Archer County Jail.

It is a response to a prayer for the nation of Israel and its future. But I would be remiss if I did not earnestly share that it is also an answer to many of our prayers for America today.

The Windthorst ISD school board was recognized by students and staff during its Monday, Jan. 24, meeting as part of school board appreciation month.

The Archer City council voted to convey a part of a closed alleyway to D & V Quadrifogilo properties so it can be sold to Dollar Tree in an upcoming transaction during its council meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19.

Patricia (Patt) Womack Giddings passed away on Jan. 18, 2023, in Wichita Falls, at the age of 85.
