Body The icy conditions on the bridge on Hwy. 25 near the Kickapoo cutoff at FM 368 caused a one-car wreck which heavily damaged a small Chevrolet Tuesday, Oct. 27. The 2-year-old passenger and driver escaped injury.

Body Tuesday’s, Oct. 27, ice storm caused damage to several trees around Archer City. This tree on West Evergreen fell across the street temporarily restricted traffc. City crews cleared the tree from the roadway.

Body The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved new sub-division regulations during its meeting Monday, Oct. 26.

Body With all the changes 2020 has brought to us, it can be diffcult to take a step back and see the silver lining. One of the best changes we’ve seen stemming from the pandemic is the lessening of several government regulations, particularly when it comes to health care.

Body The Sheriff’s Offce received 111 Calls for Service during the past seven day period ending Sunday, Oct. 25. On the day of this report there were 29 individuals incarcerated in the Archer County Jail consisting of 24 men and five women.
