The Sheriff’s Office received 97 Calls for Service during the past seven day period ending Sunday, Dec. 13. On the day of this report there were 28 individuals incarcerated in the Archer County Jail consisting of 23 men and five women.

Archer County sees spike in COVID -19 cases

Archer County Judge Randy Jackson reported on Monday, Dec. 14, that the county has seen 101 new cases, a 29% increase, in total Covid-19 cases in just one week’s time and the county will remain unexempt from GA-29 including a facial covering mandate which was issued by Governor Greg Abbott.
