Last week on my way to work I saw one of my neighbor’s yards that had that telltale blue marker dye used in chemical lawn treatment. “What a waste,” I thought. The idea that chemical treatment will result in a weed free lawn out here in the country borders on insanity.

Maria Luisa Graves, age 90, of Archer City, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 25, in Dripping Springs. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed fashion, arts and crafts, music, dancing, traveling, and cooking.
