Body Last week on my way to work I saw one of my neighbor’s yards that had that telltale blue marker dye used in chemical lawn treatment. “What a waste,” I thought. The idea that chemical treatment will result in a weed free lawn out here in the country borders on insanity.

Body Lavell Keener, age 81, of Scotland, passed away Thursday morning, March 4, 2021, in Hospice of Wichita Falls. Services were held at 2 p.m.

Body Maria Luisa Graves, age 90, of Archer City, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 25, in Dripping Springs. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed fashion, arts and crafts, music, dancing, traveling, and cooking.

Body Windthorst ISD senior Andrew Scheffe was named division winner in towable cooking equipment over eight foot and overall reserve grand champion at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo on Sunday, Feb. 28.
