Tuesday, March 30 Archer City 12, Petrolia 7 Archer City came away with a huge 12-7 win on the road against Petrolia to take command of first place in District 9-2A action. Jill Liles and Emma Gray each went 4-for-5 and combined for seven runs and five RBI with Gray logging a double and a triple.

Archer City and Windthorst competed for the District 9-2A crown on Monday, April 5, at Hamilton Park in Wichita Falls. The Wildcats had a strong showing, sending at least seven individuals to regionals while Caleb Schroeder of Windthorst has a chance to punch his ticket to the regional tournament next week.

Archer City, Holliday and Windthorst golfers took to the links on Wednesday, March 31, for their respective district tournaments. The Eagles played River Creek in Burkburnett while the Wildcats and Trojans competed at the Salt Fork River Golf Course in Seymour.
