A first half scare turned into a 22-point rout as fourth-ranked Holliday overcame a slow start to knock off Breckenridge (1- 4), 34-12, on the Eagles’ homecoming on Friday, Sept. 24. Holliday enters the bye week 5-0 before heading into district play.

The 7th grade Spartans moved to 2-1 on the season after a 38-20 loss to City View on Tuesday, September 21. Brock Belcher led the Spartans offensively, rushing for three touchdowns including a 95-yard scamper. Brayden Messineo converted one 2-point conversion from a Belcher pass. Defensive Standouts were Landyn Hale, Riley Hoffman, and Jackson Zicarelli. The Spartans will play Hamlin at home next Thursday, Sept. 30.
