The Sheriff’s Office received 119 calls for service this week. As this report is being written there are 33 inmates with eight being female in the Archer County Jail.

The Archer City Salvation Army Angel Tree will be at the Archer Public Library this Christmas season starting on Monday, November 22nd. The Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys to local children in need. Donors simply choose an Angel and shop for their Angel's Christmas wish list.

During my first pastorate, a group from the church I pastored would go to a local nursing home on the first Monday of every month and sing gospel songs with the residents. There were specific songs that they always chose for us to sing and one of those songs was “God Will Take Care of You.”
