The Trojanettes ran away with the district 9-2A meet last year scoring 191 team points, 58 points better than second place Quanah. The good news for the Trojanettes is the district championship team returns practically everyone.

Wednesday, March 9 Holliday 11, Jacksboro 0 It was the Addison Lindemann show in Jacksboro last Wednesday as the junior powered Holliday (14- 1, 1-0) to an 11-0 win in its district opener. Lindemann (9-1) recorded a strikeout for 20 of the 21 outs while scattering three hits on just 93 pitches.

Wednesday, March 9 Holliday 18, Jacksboro 5 Holliday (5-2, 1-0) opened district play up with a rout of Jacksboro, hanging an 11 spot in the second inning to blow the game open. Cooper Turner (1-1) picked up the win, tossing 4.0 innings, scattering one hit and two walks for three unearned runs while striking out six.
