Sheriff reviews vehicle fleet program with commissioners

Sheriff Jack Curd provided the Archer County Commissioner’s Court with an update on the department’s vehicle fleet program during the commissioner’s court meeting Monday, April 25. Curd told the commissioners he wanted provide them with a full picture of what the department’s vehicle fleet looks like and why he asks for the vehicles that he does.

Friday, April 22 Archer City 19, Petrolia 1 After needing some seventh inning heroics to beat Petrolia the first go round, Archer City (17-6) made certain to take care of business early on against the Lady Pirates. The Lady Cats scored four runs in each of the first three innings before hanging a seven spot in the fourth to put the game to bed in a 19-1 rout of Petrolia.
