Body The Archer County News Super Team consists of eight boys and girls from around the county who excelled on the basketball court this past season. This week’s edition features the boys team while last week’s issue announced the girls squad.

Body Archer County 4-H Archer County 4-H was the host location for both the District 4-H Duds to Dazzle contest and the District 4-H Fashion Show. Duds to Dazzle was held at the Archer County Activity Center in Archer City.

Body The cities of Archer City Holliday, Lakeside City, Megargel and Scotland saw an increase in sales tax in March than they did in the same time frame in 2022.

Body William Travis Nelson, age 93, lifelong resident of Archer City, passed away Thursday night, March 30, 2023, just shy of his 94th birthday. Vigil service and Rosary were held at 6 p.m.

Body Fri., March 31 Olney 6, Archer City 5 Archer City (7-5) plated three runs in the top of the seventh to tie the game but unfortunately a win wasn’t in the cards as Olney walked off the Wildcats, 6-5.
