Archer City sur renders ambulance provider license

The Archer City Council voted to surrender the city’s Department of State Health EMS provider license to the state during its council meeting on Thursday, July 13. City Manager George Huffman said the city received an email from DSHS asking for the city to surrender the license or be prepared for an ambulance inspection.

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court voted to extend a county-wide burn ban until Sept. 8 or rescinded by the county judge during its meeting on Monday, July 10.

County receives At torney General opinion

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court received a Texas Attorney General’s opinion on the legalities of the Archer County Sheriff’s Jail Commissary fund before approving the sale of Sheriff’s Office vehicle to the commissary fund to be used as a jail transport vehicle during its meeting on July 10.
