Dr. James Louis Poirot, age 79, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 surrounded by his family.

The Sheriff’s Office received 140 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 30 inmates and 2 being female in the Archer County Jail.
