The cities of Holliday, Scotland and Windthorst saw an increase in sales tax in March than they did in the same time frame in 2023. The first meeting between these two young squads didn’t see a lot of runs scored but saw the potential that each team possesses.

In an away game against the Olney Lady Cubs on March 29, Good Friday, freshman pitcher Addi Canada notched her third shutout victory in district, dominating Olney on the mound in a 14-0 route. The Lady Cats were 4-0 in district heading into the contest and looked to sweep the series after their last matchup versus the Lady Cubs ended in an 11-0 shutout win.
