Christianity is a positive message

Body
In a world that thinks that Christianity is a legal system and a bunch of prohibitions against such hot button issues as abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide, I am writing to say Christ and consequent Christianity is a deeply positive belief and practice.

Holliday removes interim tag; Kress named head baseball coach

Body
Archer County was no stranger to new head coaches making their debut this past sports season. Archer City welcomed three new head coaches to their ranks, while Windthorst saw a familiar face take the helm for the softball team. Holliday was no different as along the with the hire of a new athletic director and head football coach, the Red and White brought in a new head boys’ track coach, new volleyball coach, and several assistant coaches spread across all the sports. One assistant coach even got the opportunity to show off their head coaching ability, assistant- turned-head coach Jason Kress.

Serving Archer County since 1908

Body
I love the small-town life! There is something about all the ways that people come together to celebrate, honor, and support each other. The sound of every emergency vehicle available to send kids off to competitions, walking into a familiar café with friends, or just gathering around the grill, all represent the greatness of the small town. We have a lot of pride in our country, Faith in the Lord, and genuine care for each other. There is nothing that can match the American flag going up and the Star-Spangled Banner played during Friday night lights!
