The Archer City Lady Cats improved to a 6-2 record after they took down the Wichita Christian Lady Stars in the Lady Cat’s first away game of the season (outside of tournaments). The Lady Cats notched their six wins of the year after a 3-1 victory over the private school on Tuesday night, Aug. 20.

County teams play in Lu Allen Tournament

All three high school volleyball teams from around the county competed in the Lu Allen Volleyball Tournament in Graham over the weekend. Both the Windthorst Trojanettes and the Holliday Lady Eagles tore through pool play on Friday, Aug. 23, going 4-0 on the day, while the Archer City Lady Cats finished with a 1-3 record.
