In a rematch of the Battle of the Felines, the Archer City Wildcats dropped a close road battle with the Electra Tigers on Friday, Jan. 24.

The Archer City Lady Cats completed their series sweep over the Electra Lady Tigers on Friday, Jan. 24, relying heavily on stellar defense and efficient rebounding after coming off a bye.

The Sheriff’s Office received 182 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 26 inmates 7 being female in the Archer County Jail.

A man wanted for murder in Colorado was arrested in Megargel by the Archer County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, Jan. 16.
