A Pause in Creation

Body
In Genesis 1:26 there was a monumental pause in the creating process. Up to this point, God had created everything in a noticeable rhythm. Then in verse 26, when God goes to create mankind we see a dialogue between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is a pause in the creation process for God to have a discussion in the Godhead before they created humanity. God says, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” In a world where everyone wants to feel special, Genesis 1:26 shows mankind how special we are to the Creator of the Universe. It shows us at least two things that should have two major impacts on all people!
