My name is Justin Coleman, and I am a candidate for Archer County Commissioner, Precinct 2. This county isn’t just where I live—it’s who I am. I was born and raised right here in Archer County, and I’ve spent my entire life learning the value of hard work, honesty, and community.

The Archer Public Library in partnership with the Texas Center for the Book and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC), invites Texans of all ages to participate in the statewide Texas America250 Reading Challenge, which launched Jan. 1 and continues through the end of the year.

With the filing period now closed for the May 2 Uniform Election, voters in Archer County will see no contested races for city council or school board races on their ballots. The candidate filing deadline ended Friday, Feb.
