I have read several books on evangelism and worship that contain valuable insights that can strengthen believers. As believers and followers of Christ, we are called to live on mission and reach others with the same message of salvation that came to us through someone who cared enough to share Jesus. That simple truth is something Christians often know, yet it is something that must continually be remembered and practiced.

The 25-26 season featured another year of quality basketball on the hardwood for Archer City, Windthorst, and Holliday. The Lady Cats finished with an overall record of 15-14, their second-straight season above .500 under head coach Tyler Owen.

Floyd J. Morbitzer, age 93, of Weatherford, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, in Weatherford.

For his senior season as an Archer City Wildcat, Shooter Canada has been the go-to athlete the team leaned on when they needed a play made. Whether it be as the anchor of the offensive and defensive line this past football season, to one of the few seniors on the upcoming baseball team, Canada has had to shoulder a heavy burden.

The Holliday Lady Eagles lost just four seniors from last year’s Area-round qualifying team, and brought back over half of their starting lineup, and head softball coach Billy Arbogast says the expectations are high for his squad.

Archer City softball is coming off back-to-back years of deep playoff runs, and after losing just three seniors to graduation last season, the Lady Cats could be in-line for another exciting postseason stint.
