The Holliday Eagle and Lady Eagle track teams soared at the Hawk Relays in Iowa Park on Wednesday, April 1. Both teams won their respective divisions, with the Eagles scoring 78 points, and the Lady Eagles amassing 107 points, 27 points ahead of second-place Wichita Fals Memorial.

The Archer Public Library is excited to announce the launch of a new ebook and audiobook service available through the CloudLibrary app, thanks to E-Read Texas. Joseph Wells Brockman, Jr., known as Joe to friends and family, died peacefully on March 30, 2026, at a skilled nursing center in Mansfield, Texas. He was 98 years old.

The first matchup betweThe Archer City Wildcats and the Windthorst Trojans battled on baseball diamond in District 9-2A action on Tuesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 2. The Trojans handled the Wildcats in both meetings, claiming a pair of 10-0 victories to improve to 5-0 in district, while Archer City falls to 4-2.

Three Holliday athletes traveled down to Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin to compete in the legendary 98th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Friday, April 3. This meet, which draws competitors from across the state and nation, features a collection of some of the best track and field athletes facing off against one another.

In between their matchups with the Archer City Wildcats, the Windthorst Trojans hosted the Holliday Eagles in an intra-county duel on the diamond on Tuesday, March 31. In what looked to be a Big Blue victory early on, the Red and White turned it around and eventually flipped the script to a double-digit win.
