Holliday Council Considers New Police Department Cameras

The Holliday City Council listened to a presentation on the possibility of purchasing new law enforcement body cameras and in-car cameras during its city council meeting on Monday, May 18. The council was presented the new public safety technology by Mark Osborn, retired police officer and current business manager for Coreforce, the potential provider for the new law enforcement equipment and technology.

County Receives Rural Ambulance Service Grant

In the Archer County Commissioner’s Court meeting Tuesday, May 26, it was announced that Archer County has received a Rural Ambulance Service Grant. County Judge Randy Jackson made the announcement of the $500,00 grant to the court.

After three years of trips to the UIL Track and Field State Championships, Atwood finally broke through her senior season on Thursday, May 14 to win her first of three state track gold medals, closing out a stellar high school career.
