The Sheriff’s Office received 180 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 30 inmates and 2 being female in the Archer County Jail. Man dies at wind farm in Archer County

A Weslaco man died after he feel from a wind turbine near Windthorst on Wednesday, April 24. According to Archer County Sheriff Jack Curd, dispatch received a call of a man who had fallen from unknown height at the Windthorst 2 Wind Project.
