Amy Wilde, age 53, daughter of James and Suzanne Lindemann Wilde, was called to the Lord on Dec.17, 2023.

Visitation was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dece. 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Windthorst followed by rosary. Mass was celebrated at 3 p.m. with Reverend Michael Moloney, OFS, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Amy was born Oct. 13, 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with her Master’s Degree in 2008. After graduation, she followed her wanderlust passion of traveling and moved to the Island of Bonaire for seven years.

Amy came back home and started working for the family business and eventually had to step into the role of Director of Business Operations after the death of her father in 2020. This was the perfect fit for her organizational and multitasking talents. Being the oldest of six, Amy was a great help to her mother and continued to be the “Favorite Aunt” DeeDee to her seven nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed the camaraderie of her close friends in her Women’s Motorcycle Club.

Amy was a devoted Cowboy fan, fun to be around and always willing to do a favor for anyone. She was also a great help and comfort to her mother, and was always willing to be her traveling companion. She was the best party planner and loved writing personal notes to friends and colleagues. She always knew the perfect gift to give to make someone feel special and loved.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, James Wilde; and her grandparents, W.L. “Rusty” and Geraldine Green Lindemann and George W. and Elizabeth Schlabs Wilde. She is survived by her mother, Suzanne; her brothers, James Jr. (Jamie) and his daughter, Laurie Anne, Jonathan and wife, Renee and their children, Hailey, Nicole and Maxwell, Matthew and wife, Angela and their daughters, Sterling and Hayden, Nicholas and wife, Meridith; and her sister, Dianna and her son, Maddox.

Amy’s giving spirit will live on as she was an organ donor and will be giving the gift of sight through the donation of her corneas.

In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the charity of your choice in Amy’s name.
