August “Gus” Edward Berend, age 86, of Windthorst, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, at his residence. Rosary was held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Windthorst followed by Mass celebrated with Rev. Michael Moloney, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home…
