Mack Howell, age 76, lifelong resident of Archer City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2023, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at Grace Community Church with Pastor Jon Curry officiating. A Weslaco man died after he feel from a wind turbine near Windthorst on Wednesday, April 24. According to Archer County Sheriff Jack Curd, dispatch received a call of a man who had fallen from unknown height at the Windthorst 2 Wind Project.
