Regena Profftt Morris of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, Oct. 22, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at the Grace Community Church with Lonny Hawkins, Pastor of Antelope Methodist Church, offciating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Regena was born Feb. 4 to the late Brent Durwood Profftt and Vaudine Pendergrass Profftt in Newcastle.

She attended Archer City High School.

Regena married the love of her life, ADub Morris on March 18, 1953 in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2009.

Regena was a homemaker until she was employed by Maxine’s Dress Shop in Wichita Falls. Then she worked for Tots to Teens until they closed the store. She continued her employment with Stork Land where she worked for thirty years until her retirement in 2018.

Regena was a member of the “Huzzie’s Lunch Group” where she was second in command. She loved dining out, shopping, and traveling. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimbra Oliver and husband, Weyman of Windthorst, and Susan Pope and husband, David of Wichita Falls; brother, Brent Profftt and wife, Elaine of Archer City; sister, Brenda Dixon and husband, Johnny of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Carolyn Askins and husband, Sammie of Lakeside City; three grandchildren, Brittany Oliver Liang and husband, Mike of Dallas, Jesse Pope and wife, Shayna and Mason Pope and wife, Brooke, all of Wichita Falls; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; special daughter, Leslie Knox of Archer City; and her great Granddane, Lolly.

The family would like to especially thank Brooke Pope as a home care giver to MeMe, as well as Angela, Brenda and Carolyn for all the extra love and care they gave her recently.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310. They are truly angels on earth who gave her extraordinary care.
