County Enact s Emergency Burn Ban

Archer County Judge Randy Jackson placed the county under a 7-day emergency burn ban on Thursday, July 30.

The ban prohibits all outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of the county. The use of combustible materials including fireworks, burning of trash, open campfires and materials used outdoors in activities that could result in a fire are also banned. Outdoor cigarette or cigar smoking is also …
