County Placed in Burn Ban

Archer County Judge Randy Jackson placed the county under a 10-day emergency burn ban on Thursday, March 26. The ban is set to expire Sunday, April 5, unless it is extended.

This follows a previous countywide burn ban that was extended March 2 through March 11. The original emergency burn ban was first declared on Feb. 23.

The ban prohibits all outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of the county. …
