One arrested for firing shots at deputies

The Archer County Sheriff’s Office arrested one woman for two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant with a deadly weapon following a standoff on Aug. 8.

As the officer involved shooting scene in Archer City was wrapping up, deputies were called to Elliott Road near Lakeside City for a welfare check.
