Riding for a Cure

Rex Covington made a stop in Archer City Wednesday, June 6, riding across the United States to raise money for diabetes research.

Covington, a Fort Worth native, said he decided to begin riding for awareness in June 2018 in memory of his son Chris, who was a type 1 diabetic. Chris passed away at 27-years-old in a car crash in 2015 after blacking out from issues with his blood sugar levels. Rex hope…
